Angry Gamers

Angry Gamers is the creation of an opinionated, graphic and web designer named Zikron. Zikron is never short of an opinion and has been seeking a forum to voice his for awhile. The concept was created in late 2008, disgusted by how political sites like IGN and Gamespot had become. Agreeing to score games higher as long as publishers paid off the right people. And so Angry Gamers was created.

After searching for a team for Angry Gamers to help bring the idea to life Zikron could not find anyone he could rely on to follow through with their promises. So he embarked on the journey alone, researching what makes a successful gaming site and hoping to build a team at a later date and time.

The design of Angry Gamers was completed by Zikron on December 23rd 2008 while on vacation in Tucson, Arizona. A week later the home page was built and running. Internal pages were built and new technologies were played around with. Then on January 31st, 2009 Angry Gamers went live and the world was never the same.

What Makes Angry Gamers Different?

Angry Gamers doesn't candy coat its words to make everyone happy. We are blunt and straight to the point. Our reader may agree with us completely on one subject and disagree on another. That's how Angry Gamers rolls.

Angry Gamers review system is also unique. There are basically two scores given to a game, an overall score like you would find on any other website and also a value. The value is the price point we reccomend picking the game up for and is based strongly on replay value and gameplay.

The Future of Angry Gamers

Angry Gamers is looking to grow and expand in new ways. Flash enhancements will be added to the site by the beginning of May 2009. We are also looking to build on the community aspect of Angry Gamers, finding new ways you, the reader, can intereact with the staff and readers of Angry Gamers.
