Just a warning to everyone, this article is for fans of Angry Gamers. This article is being written to inform our fans of changes in Angry Gamers and what the future holds. If you are looking to read an article on fanboys this is not it.

The term fanboy can be interpreted several different ways but the definition I would have to agree with the most comes from Urban Dictionary: Technocratic zealots; evangelicals of geekery. Characterized by irrational advocacy of a particular OS, console, company, or franchise. This word apparently holds more weight in the gaming community than racial slurs and swears that are commonly heard in online deathmatches.

This was never more apparent to me than on May 26th when I posted a comment where I called KatanOmega a 360 fanboy for his comments made on the May 24th Angry Gamers podcast. Apparently I caught KatanOmega while he was menstruating which caused him to completely over react to my comment. Upon reading my comment KatanOmega promptly quit Angry Gamers and decided to pursue his own website.

While I stand by my comment I do feel bad about it all given KatanOmega's situation he now finds himself in; unemployed, living with his mom, just quit smoking and deprived of sex for months. I tried my best to help out KatanOmega, teaching him the basics of HTML, CSS and website development. I even tried to get an internship at the design firm I work at which ended in complete humility when he wrote on his resume: GPA: 3.7 (This is down from my usual 4.0 because I feel I was unfairly given a B in one of my classes). That's KatanOmega for you boys and girls, a true Angry Gamer, but unfortunately anger got the best of him.

So now Angry Gamers moves forward and I will be able to devote more time to writing an no longer holding KatanOmega's hand. No longer will I have to proof his articles for the multitude of grammar and spelling mistakes he makes. Nor will I have to go through and fix the HTML errors and mistakes. I know not only am I grateful for this but so are my friends and co-workers who have grown sick of hearing me complain of KatanOmega's ignorance.

The Angry Gamers Podcast will be taking some time off to look for new hosts and the site may not be updated as frequently as it has been since we are short handed. If you are would like to contribute to the site or podcast fill out the contact form and I will be in touch with you.
