Remember the good old days? Ya know before the "Dark Times." A time when we knew nothing of things like Jar Jar Binks, Jango Fett, or how bad an actor Hayden Christensen is. Yeah me too, and it begs the question "What ever happened to Han, Luke, and Leia."

The last time we saw the tremendous trio on the silver screen they were partying down with a bunch of Muppets in the Muppet's tree fort after the second Death Star was destroyed. Was that the end of their adventures? Anyone who reads the EU books or comics knows that Han, Luke, and Leia had many more best selling adventures. Now the question is, why have we not seen them return to Video Games.

Before we go any further, I would like to state for the record that if any of you little bastards tries to correct me and say that Han, Luke, an Leia are in Star Wars Galaxies I will drive to your house, rape your father while he is giving your mom a rim job, and make you watch. That game is an abomination and should be wiped clean from the face of the earth..........DEATH TO SOE! Sorry, we will get back on track now.

As I was saying, while generic Jedi and boring clones have been tearing up the large and small screens. The original trilogy cast has been raking in some serious moolah in the form of books, and comic books. They are still proven money makers and their are now a plethora of great stories to be adapted into a video game, or be still my heart a new video game trilogy.

Lucasarts is going to reveal the revival of a old franchise at E3 and while my fondest wish would be that it is going to be X-Wing vs. Tie Fighter. All signs point to Monkey Island, or Grim Fandango. We have already learned that yet ANOTHER Clone Wars Era game based on the animated series is due out this Holiday season. Do we really want another shoddy hack&slash with glow bats. When will Lucasarts be able to make a quality game again instead of spreading shit over any console they can find? It's time to get back to what works and put the project in the hands of those who understand what Star Wars is, not those who think they can base a game around "kicking ass with the force."

With that being said I will end this article with a quote from a very wise man who went before his time "gggrrrrglllllllllllll......choke........wheeze..........gasp....."(Capt. Needah, The Empire Strikes Back)
